Supporting Young Adults

Evidence-based therapy and support for older adolescents and young adults.

This may include common mental health difficulties, navigating key transitions and relationships, and health-related difficulties which may bring new challenges at this stage of life. We work in a range of ways to support older adolescents and young adults and offer individual work as well as joint work with parents if requested.

We have significant experience in working with a range of conditions and experiences, including the following:

  • Neurodevelopmental conditions and differences, including Autism and ADHD
  • Emotional & treatment difficulties associated with health conditions
  • Anxiety, including specific difficulties such as phobias, OCD, generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, social anxiety
  • Depression and low mood
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Navigating relationships & key life transitions

Approaches may include CBT, systemic, narrative and integrative therapies. Using information and an understanding of the specific concerns from the assessment phase, we will work with you to build a tailored evidence-based intervention, with the aim of achieving positive change and working through the goals set by the young person themselves.
