Evidence-based approaches to support parents who may be experiencing difficulties managing specific parenting challenges or aspects of their child’s development or wellbeing. This may include the following:
- Adjustment to the role of parenting and understanding what is ‘normal’
- Managing specific parenting challenges (e.g. sleeping, feeding, behaviour)
- Navigating specific stages of parenting that can feel particularly difficult (e.g. early years, transition to school, adolescence).
We offer consultation, practical strategies and help understanding children’s emotions, behaviour and development. Where appropriate, we can offer a blended, individualised approach e.g.a targeted parenting intervention followed by joint child/parent sessions and/or direct work with the child.
